East Side Tavern: A Portrait of the Columbia Comedy Scene

The "As Yet Unnamed Comedy Show" is the longest running comedy show in Columbia, Missouri and it's a stomping ground comfortable for local veterans and shaky first-timers. It's also the home club for a handful of national head-liners and the venue of the best bar in town.

I made this one for my last production class junior year. The assignment was to run a documentary and the most interesting scene I had at my disposal was the bar I started doing stand-up at. Thankfully I had some of Columbia, Missouri's best (and worst) comics at my disposal. Check the shot diversity B)
